Urban Farmhouse Renovation
This 1905 two-story farmhouse has undergone many changes in its lifetime. At one point, a portion of the 4,391-s.f. space was converted into a professional dentist office. HighCraft Builders converted the dental exam rooms back into a warm residential living space. A spacious master suite was created with a coffered ceiling in the bedroom, and a fully tiled shower in the bath. The kitchen, common areas and upstairs bathroom were thoughtfully updated. Careful attention was given to maintaining the home’s turn-of-the-century character as well as preserving as much of the original materials as possible, including a charming cast iron clawfoot bathtub. The new apron sink in the kitchen, bead board cabinetry, burnished bin pulls, rich wood flooring, and rustic barn doors with hammered steel tracks feel at home in this farmhouse renovation.
