Rustic Kitchen and Pergola
Julie and Harold have owned their lakeside home for more than 20 years. And while they have always loved their house and location, its interior felt dark and dated, the original kitchen was cramped, and the old foggy windows obscured their views of the lake. Our design-build team opened up the kitchen to the dining and living rooms, and vaulted the living room ceiling, to make the combined space feel more spacious and inviting. We replaced windows on the front of the house, and added a large patio, pergola and barbeque station, to take full advantage of lakefront views. Other features include a custom hickory banquette in the dining room, ceramic tile that mimics barnwood, gorgeous lighting fixtures, knotty alder barn doors to conceal the pantry, and a package drop box built into the front porch.
