Guest Bunkhouse Over Garage

Our team designed and built The Bunkhouse – a custom two-bedroom, two-bath guest apartment over a detached garage on a 10-acre ranch in Larimer County, Colorado. Carriage house apartments, like this vacation rental east of Loveland, can add value, flexibility, extra income, and more living space to a property. The Bunkhouse reflects the homeowners’ love of travel, western life and everything cowboy. The kitchen’s open shelving, terra cotta backsplash and hammered copper apron sink feel at home on the ranch, and we love the milk can pendant, rustic table, retro chairs and western wall décor in the dining room. Open metal railings make the entire guest house feel lighter and larger. The Bunkhouse is surrounded by agricultural landscapes, and the deck is a wonderful place to sip a glass of wine and take in 180-degree views of the Northern Colorado Front Range. When it comes to making guests feel comfortable and at home, it’s hard to beat this custom carriage house apartment.

The Bunkhouse won six “Best of” awards, including the top Golden Key Award, at the 2021 NOCO HBA Parade of Homes.
