Irish Pub Remodel March 17, 2016 To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, we’re sharing a Guinness-inspired basement we remodeled in south Fort Collins. This project is a classic example of using something a homeowner loves (like a dark brown pint of Guinness stout) to drive the design and finish selections. The darker woods, rich color palette and burnished bronze pendants make the space feel warm and inviting. The Guinness-themed bar anchors the open floorplan, which is a haven for both relaxing and entertaining. Sip a pint as you watch the game on TV, deal a hand of cards or play shuffleboard. The stained concrete adds interest and makes for easy clean up. Sure, golf was invented in Scotland not Ireland, but the carpeted putting green totally fits the character of this fun living space. The homeowner also added an amazing vintage pinball game next to the poker table. Check out more photos of this project on Houzz! Ready to remodel? Our team is happy to answer your questions.
