On Saturday, July 30th, HighCraft Builders joined Northern Colorado IIDA for their annual community service event to benefit the Harmony House in Fort Collins.
The team collected donation items for Harmony House staff and visitors. On the interior staircase, a new carpet runner was installed.
Volunteers worked to replace the concrete steps at the front entry, replace exterior light fixtures, install a security system, remove a dead tree and spruce up the grounds.
Built in 1891, the house is showing classic signs of wear. HighCraft is thrilled by the opportunity to be a part of future restoration projects at this historic facility.
Special thanks to HighCraft trade partners Specialty Appliance, Mountain Valley Floors, BA Electric, CD Enterprises, and Artistic Metal for their donations and time!
Harmony House is a non-profit facility that provides a voice in court for abused and neglected children, as well as a safe, home-like setting for supervised visits and exchanges between children and their non-custodial family members in an attempt to maintain relationships during times of domestic conflict.
