“I love, love, love the look on a client’s face when they see their finished project and I can spot a happy tear in the corner of their eye.” – Matt
LIKES: Jeeping, backpacking with his family, no-cell-phone zones, and coming together as a team to solve a problem.
DISLIKES: A dirty vehicle, eating eggplant, and a bad pair of boots.
More than meets the eye:
Growing up in Montana, Matt learned to drive a D4 CAT tractor by age nine, and was helping his dad build houses since he was twelve. In addition to being an amazing woodworker, Matt is a backcountry hunter and exceptional cook, who makes wild game sausage and cans what he grows in his garden.
We absolutely love Matt. He is the best in his field and by the end of our project we felt like he was family. There is no doubt that our overall experience would have been different if we didn’t work with Matt. He was a perfectionist and there were times when we felt like he cared more about our home than we did which was the most reassuring thing for us. We knew we were in good hands even if we would have run into issues during construction (which we didn’t) because Matt would have found a solution quickly that we were comfortable with. We’re aware that working with HighCraft came at a higher price financially than other builders, but all of the value was there because of Matt. – Ally and Jeff
Matt took care of everything. I really appreciated his keeping me up-to-date on the week’s schedule and the way he accommodated my crazy travel schedule … Easy to talk to and happily rolled with my changes. – Sarah J.
Our project manager, Matt, was the best – nothing escaped his attention, and he brought the project in well ahead of schedule and for less than we originally budgeted. – Cara N.
We cannot say enough about Matt. He was a pleasure to work with. Matt took the time every day to keep us updated with our project … I was very impressed how on top of everything he is. If there was something we did not like or we saw an issue with, Matt already had a solution or an answer to the problem. Matt took the time to learn the names of my kids and pets and was a pleasure to have in our home every day. His attention to detail is amazing and kept our home clean during the entire construction process. Matt made this one of the best remodel experiences we have ever had. Thank you so much. – Scott and Denise
Matt Roessner was spectacular, patient, great teacher, great problem solver, high expectations, flexible, optimistic always. Having each step along the way explained to us, was very helpful. This greatly relieved our anxiety about the remodel. Matt Roessner’s kind attention to detail, his obvious joy in his work – made a tremendous impact. The craftsmanship, problem solving, communication with billing – always exactly as explained. What a very quality human being! – Priscilla and Lee
