Dennis has more than thirty years of combined experience in construction, manufacturing, home improvement services, and residential remodeling.
After serving four years in the Marine Corps, Dennis returned home to Southern California where he worked with his dad in residential construction. Dennis eventually moved to Loveland in search of a slower pace and a good place to raise a family. He quickly rose through the ranks to become a manufacturing plant superintendent in Fort Collins, and then joined Vestas Wind Systems as a manager on the original team that brought wind turbine blade technology from Europe to the facility in Windsor. Seeking a better work-life balance, Dennis went back to his construction roots and started a handyman company in Loveland, which he operated for seven years.
As a project manager at HighCraft, Dennis combines his love of people and home improvement with his desire to be part of a helpful and hardworking team. From demo to finish, Dennis has the experience, military precision and management skills necessary to make any remodeling project run smoothly.
“I’m just amazed how HighCraft has set itself apart from other construction companies, and how respected they are in Northern Colorado. The people are what make the company so great. They’ve created a culture that makes every employee want to bring their A-game, want to do their best.” – Dennis
LIKES: Organization. Beach vacations, mountain biking and fishing, and riding Harleys with his adult sons. Making racks of ribs and twice-baked potatoes, or trying new Thai and Indian recipes.
DISLIKES: Traffic. Laziness, wastefulness, and too many tchotchkes (clutter makes him twitch).
More than meets the eye:
Dennis grew up in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, and went to high school with celebrities, including Juliette Lewis and Ice Cube. As a Marine, he guarded embassies in Ouagadougou, the capital of the West African country of Burkina Faso. Dennis may have grown up with stars in California, and seen the world as a Marine, but his heart is in Colorado. Dennis especially loves Loveland, his home for more than twenty years.
Dennis, the project manager, was fabulous. He took care of every detail and aspect of the project. If I had any concerns, he got back to me right away. If I changed my mind, he took care of it right away and made me feel comfortable doing that. He has an immaculate ability to keep everything in check all the time. – David and Suzanne
