We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to post a blog on Leap Day, and we couldn’t think of a better topic to cover than Colorado’s Low-Income Energy Assistance Program, or LEAP.
LEAP is managed through the county offices of the Colorado Department of Human Services, and the program accepts applications for energy bill assistance November 1 – April 30.
Energy Outreach Colorado partners with LEAP to ensure that year-round heating bill payment assistance is available to limited-income Coloradans.
Energy Outreach Colorado is a nonprofit dedicated to delivering cost-effective energy assistance, emergency furnace repair, energy conservation and energy education for low-income households to maintain their well-being and encourage self-sufficiency.
We’re grateful to live and work in a state that provides such an important program!
