The 38th Annual Rocky Mountain Senior Games were held in Greeley last weekend.
The Games provide athletic competition and social opportunities that promote healthy, active lifestyles for adults over the age of 50. The event is also the Colorado qualifier for the national competition. For five days, hundreds of athletes from Colorado and surrounding states competed in a variety of athletic events including track and field, swimming, cycling, volleyball and dozens more.
HighCraft Project Manager D Walker competed and took first place in the mile, clocking an impressive 4.47-minute run. He also placed second in the 800-meter race.
This isn’t the first impressive racing victory for D. A few years back, he placed 3rd out of 15,000 at a regional Tough Mudder competition.
