On September 27th, HighCraft project manager Gordon Winner was riding in a race for his brother Kevin’s life.
Kevin was diagnosed with Type I diabetes at the age of 29. At 36, Kevin is now managing his disease as he balances his professional and personal life as a husband and father of three. On September 27th, the brothers joined forces with an amazing team of friends to ride in their second Southern Colorado Tour de Cure, the signature fundraising event to support the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
All seven members of team “Big D Connection” finished the 105-mile ride that stretched through Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods, Monument and Palmer Lake. Gordon and Kevin’s team was the TOP fundraiser in the Friends and Family division, raising more than $11,000 for ADA.
