1960s Ranch Remodel
Jeff and Ally purchased their 2-bedroom, 2-bath fixer-upper for its acreage, prized neighborhood and views of Longs Peak. After living in the home for two years, the couple knew they wanted to enhance its curb appeal, finish the basement, open up the interior layout, and maximize those mountain views. The result of their remodel is a more sunny, spacious and welcoming home that ticked every box on their wish list. The project included three small additions – the front porch, a garage bump-out, and an expanded kitchen and master bathroom – that vastly improved the functionality of their home. On the exterior, the new timber-frame porch, covered seating area and farmhouse color palette create an inviting front entrance. Inside the home, the new open floorplan with its wall of windows floods the home with warm sunshine and natural light. Other features of the remodel include a large kitchen island, butler’s pantry, new mudroom, updated fireplace surround, spacious master suite, and a fully finished walk-out basement for overnight guests.
