French Country Inspired Remodel

Our team remodeled every inch of this 4-bedroom, 4-bath patio home in Timnath for husband and wife empty nesters who were ready for a change. Client must-haves for the 4,122-s.f. project included an updated kitchen with oversized island, furniture-style cabinetry in multiple rooms, a larger main-floor master suite, a closed-door office with his and her desks, and guest bedrooms, bathrooms and a craft room in the finished basement. Inspired by French country décor, we custom built a cabinet to look like a standalone hutch in the kitchen, and repurposed an antique dresser as the vanity in the powder bath. In the living room, we added distressed ceiling beams and a fireplace wall with built-in tower bookcases. The office features dual desks with a shared peninsula workspace and cathedral-window barn doors. In the master suite, we captured square footage from a guest bedroom to create a larger bedroom, bathroom, seating area and enormous dream closet. Other features of the remodel include a dry bar, new mudroom, epic craft room, and a fully finished basement with three guest bedrooms and two bathrooms.
