Back in February we shared a finished basement remodel that included office space, guest bathroom, lounge area, spare bedroom, and the wet bar pictured above. We’ve been asked to share more interior design photos of basement remodels, and of bars in particular, so we pulled together a gallery of some our favorites from past projects.
1. Bar and Pool Room
The smoky blue subway tile backsplash in this wet bar picks up the blue felt of the pool table in this Windsor, Colorado basement remodel. Swivel seating, statement countertops, warm lighting and natural gas fireplace, make this basement a popular hangout.
2. Craft Beer on Tap
Northern Colorado loves its craft beer and home brewing. If you do too, then consider installing a dual-tap Kegerator like this one in your basement wet bar.
3. Basement Pub Concept
And speaking of pouring a pint, this Irish pub-inspired wet bar anchors a large game room, complete with poker table, shuffleboard and mounted television screens to watch your favorite team play.
4. Home Theater Bar
This basement bar takes screen time to a whole new level.
Strategically located behind the media room’s tiered stadium seating, you never miss a touchdown, or the best part of the movie, while refreshing your drink.
5. Rustic Modern Style
Under-cabinet lighting, full-size refrigerator, quartz countertops, under-counter microwave, and additional beverage cooler, make fixing drinks and snacks a snap at this wet bar. But it’s not only practical, it’s a beautiful space, too. The industrial Edison bulb chandelier and ledgestone accent wall add interest and style to this rustic modern basement.
6. Main Floor Convenience
We know this post is supposed to be about basement finish ideas, but we couldn’t leave before sharing how much we love main floor bars – and many Northern Colorado homeowners do, too. We’re installing more and more wet bars in, or directly off, the kitchen or dining room. We’re also adding them to butler’s pantries for added convenience.
A beverage station like this one in Old Town Fort Collins is the perfect place to mix cocktails before dinner, and to stay out of the busy cook’s way while you’re doing it.
